Effectively, it is announcing that your "primary" specialisation has changed, with "primary" defined as the first tab directly below your generic spell book tab in the spell book window. The current active specialisation is always positioned in that location.
Tried reinstalling the game. Putting in a ticket as Nephilia suggested. On the right hand side there will be all your specs. Go to Arcane and at the bottom of the screen it should say activate.
Just press activate and boom you will change to Arcane from Fire. I appreciate all the help, guys. I was looking in the wrong place to change the specialization. All fixed. Now I just have to look around on the floor and find where I dropped my brain….
