The last sniper rifle that I would recommend for newer players is the AS50 semi-automatic rifle. This sniper rifle has an unbelievable amount of power behind it, which will more often than not take out an enemy with just one shot. The major dis-advantage to using this sniper is that it only holds a very small amount of rounds in each magazine, and you only start out with a very small number of bullets when you spawn, but as a compensation, you will very rarely need any more than one bullet per enemy.
With regard to sound, this weapon is extremely loud even when using the suppressor attachment. Therefore, you aren't going to want to use this weapon if you are trying to play stealthily, and you may want to re-consider the slowness of this weapon, before you try to go Quick-scoping with it!
However, if you are planning to use this weapon for the purpose of sniping across the map, then this may be perfect for your usage. In fact, to some degree, you could potentially see a lot of success with this sniper, if you use both the suppressor and the Extended Magazines attachments, as it will only take two shots maximum to take out each enemy.
From the information given about each of the recommended sniper rifles, it is your call on which of them you should use. While I can definitely give you advice from my own experience, I can in no way determine which one is best for you without knowing how you play the game. Cal for its incredible range and semi-automatic fire. Either way, I suggest that you experiment with each of these sniper rifles to see which one suits you best and which one you feel most comfortable using. Remember that you do not need to be religious with the sniper rifle you use as it is perfectly acceptable for you to swap out the MSR for the LA for some varied gameplay.

Sometimes you have too shoot twice at your enemy with the msr, but still it's a very good sniper :. I thought impact only made a difference if the shot was made through a surface or material, not the overall damage that they inflict.

I deliberately edited out the scenes where I died or got shot, so that people could see how to correctly quick scope. I enjoyed it very much. I just started sniping regularly. Never had the taste for it but I am enjoying it very much. And this was very helpful. By the way have you ever used the AS50? It averages at a 1 shot kill, and is very effective on tactical game modes. Barret with silencer variable zoom scope to offset the range reduction, blind eye, assassin, dead silence. I don't think that any of the sniper rifles are "easier" to use, it's just a matter of preference and which weapon you feel most comfortable with. Overall, a great description of each sniper rifle, I can tell you put quite a bit of work into this hub. I do have some issues with your class set-ups, such as using kick on the bolt action rifles. Kick is designed to reduce recoil, but seeing as how you have to pull back the bolt on every shot with the LA and the MSR, recoil isn't anything to worry about.
By the time the bolt it cocked, the reticle would have already reset on its own. Impact or stability is my personal choice, but hey, to each his own. If it works, it works. Simulation Games.
